If we don’t act swiftly, next summer will see drilling rigs being assembled in the Arctic Ocean. We can’t let a repeat of the Gulf oil spill happen in the arctic, home to an astonishing variety of whales, seals and sea lions, walruses and polar bears. Sign our petition below urging the Interior Department to block drilling in this ecologically sensitive area until we can be certain that drilling can be done safely.
